Current trainees, past trainees, or faculty at Baylor
College of Medicine are eligible for membership in the
Michael E. DeBakey International Surgical Society. We
also extend membership invitations to individuals who
have not taken formal training at Baylor College of
Medicine, but who have worked with Doctor DeBakey or
the school or who have presented at meetings of the
Society.
If you do not fall into any of these categories but
your interest areas lead you to believe membership in
the Society would be mutually beneficial, you may apply
with sponsorship by a member of the Society.
As soon as your application and application fee of
$40.00 are received, you will be placed on the mailing
list to receive all correspondence related to future
meetings. Applicants for membership are considered by
the Board as they are received, and we hope you are
numbered among the applicants considered at our next
meeting.
